The MSF eCourse

Here’s some important info regarding your online MSF eCourse. Please read this FAQ in it’s entirety, as it’ll answer most of your questions! Remember, the eCourse takes about 3 hours, and you’ll need to arrive at your first Total Rider class with a completed, printed Certificate.

1. After scheduling your MSF class with TR, you’ll receive a separate email from us regarding how to access the eCourse. The Subject line will say: TOTAL RIDER: Basic eCourse & Promotional Code.

This email will give you specific instructions on how to access MSF’s online eCourse, as well as supply you with a personal code that you’ll need to forgo the fee. You’ll receive this email at the end of the business day M-F, or, if you registered on the weekend, you will receive the email on Monday. Be sure and check your junk/spam folder if you haven’t received it before contacting us.

2. The eCourse must be completed before coming to the first day of class with your printed certificate in hand.

Upon completion of an MSF eCourse, you will be able to print a completion certificate that is valid for 30 days. If you are taking an MSF eCourse as a requirement for enrolling in a hands-on training course, the eCourse must be completed within 30 days prior to the class start date. If you have completed an eCourse more than 30 days before the class start date, you must re-take the eCourse (you can re-take it for free) by logging in and checking the “Start new attempt” checkbox.

**The MSF eCourses are NOT accepted as a license waiver by any state department of motor vehicles, or as a license to ride a motorcycle or a learner’s permit.

3. Super Special Hint: There is a 25 question multiple-choice Knowledge Test based on the learning concepts from the eCourse, given at the end of your first class… so pay close attention to what you learn from the eCourse to pass the test! 🙂

4. Lastly, you can find out more, detailed info about the eCourse on the MSF website by going to this link. But remember, you’ll first need your promotion code from TR to take the eCourse for free.
